Neron App Studio

Privacy Policy

Namiri - Last updated: October 8, 2026

1. Introduction

NERON ("we", "our", "us") makes Namiri, a baby-name app for parents, listed on the App Store as "Namiri: Bebek İsmi Bul". This policy explains what Namiri collects, what we use it for, who receives it, how long we keep it and how you delete it.

In short: you start without giving a name, email address or password. What you tell Namiri about your baby, and the names you like and pass, are stored on our servers so the app can suggest names and share your list with your partner. While your household has a subscription or free trial, parts of this are sent to Anthropic, whose Claude models write name suggestions, reasons and stories. Namiri shows no ads, contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not sell your data. You can delete your account inside the app.

2. Your account

  • The first time you open Namiri, it creates an anonymous account for you, identified by a random account ID. You do not give a name, email address or password.
  • You can later sign in with Apple or Google so you keep your list when you change or reinstall your phone. We then receive an identifier for that Apple or Google account and its email address (Apple lets you share a private relay address instead). With Google, our sign-in provider also receives the name and profile picture on your Google account. We use these only to sign you in.
  • Until you sign in with Apple or Google, the only key to your account is stored on your phone. If you delete the app or lose the phone, you cannot get back into that account.
  • Settings shows your Support ID (your account ID). Quote it when you write to us so we can find your account.
  • An anonymous account that is inactive for 180 days (no sign-in, no opening of the app, no swipes) is deleted with its data (section 14 lists what that removes). We do not delete an account this way if it may have made a purchase or if a partner shares its household.

3. The baby profile you enter

During the short introduction, and later in Settings, you tell Namiri:

  • the baby's sex (girl, boy or surprise) and the expected due date, which also drives the countdown;
  • your surname and the first names of the baby's siblings, so suggestions sound good with them and never repeat a sibling's name;
  • your family's heritage and languages;
  • your style (classic or modern, short or long, common or rare) and the values you would like the name to carry;
  • the language the app uses.

These answers are stored on our servers as your household's baby profile. When your partner joins, they see the profile and can change it too. When you mark a name as the one you chose, it is saved to the same profile so you both see it.

4. Likes, passes, matches and your shortlist

  • Each name you like or pass is stored with your account. We use your likes and passes to learn your taste and rank the names we show you.
  • When your partner is in your household, their likes and passes also help rank your names, and yours help rank theirs. Your partner never sees the names you passed. A name you liked may appear on their screen marked as liked by you.
  • When you both like the same name, it becomes a match and is added to your shared shortlist. You can add names to the shortlist yourselves too.
  • The shortlist, its order and the notes on it are shared: both of you can read and change them.
  • We keep a log, on our servers only, of which names were shown to you: when, in what position, whether it was a surprise card and whether the AI wrote the reason. We use it to measure and improve suggestions. Section 13 explains how long it is kept.

5. Your partner and your household

  • A household holds up to two people. You invite your partner with a link from the app. Anyone who has the link can join your household while there is a free place, so share it only with your partner.
  • Inside the household you both see the baby profile, the matches, the shortlist with its notes, the chosen name and the family votes.
  • If one of you leaves the household, the leaver's likes and passes go with them, matches that rested on their likes are removed and the family votes they created are closed. The profile, the shortlist and its notes stay with the partner who remains.

6. Family vote

  • You can share a family vote link so relatives can vote on your shortlist in a web browser, without the app or an account.
  • For 30 days, anyone who has the link can see the names on your shortlist with their meanings and vote counts, and vote for or against each name. Your notes, your surname and the rest of your profile are not shown.
  • A voter types a name to vote under (up to 40 characters). We store that name and their votes, and your household can see who voted for what. Up to 30 people can vote on one link.
  • The link stops working after 30 days. The vote, with every vote cast in it, is deleted 30 days after the link closes, or sooner if the person who created it leaves the household or deletes their account, or the household is deleted.

7. AI processing by Anthropic

Namiri's AI features work only while your household has an active subscription or free trial. They run on our servers, which send the data below to Anthropic, PBC, whose Claude models write the text. Your phone does not talk to Anthropic directly.

  • Name suggestions: your baby profile (sex, due date, surname, siblings' names, heritage, style, values and app language), the names you recently liked and passed, and candidate names we picked from our catalog. The model chooses names and writes a short reason for each. We do not tell it which names your partner liked or passed.
  • Ask, the assistant: the messages in your conversation (up to the last 20) and your baby profile.
  • A name's story and its checks: only the name, its origins, its meaning and the app language. No personal data is sent. The results are saved and shown to every family that opens the same name.
  • How a name fits your family: the name, your surname, the siblings' names and the app language. The result is saved for your household.

Anthropic processes this data on our behalf to provide these features. Under Anthropic's commercial terms it does not use this data to train its models. See Anthropic's privacy policy.

We save the reasons the AI wrote for you, linked to your account. If the same name comes up for you again within 30 days and your profile has not changed, we reuse the reason instead of asking the AI again. Saved reasons are deleted 30 days after they were written. Your Ask conversation is kept only on your phone (the last 50 messages); our servers do not store it.

AI-written text can be wrong; see the Terms of Use.

8. Subscriptions and purchases

  • Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play. They handle the payment; we never see your card or bank details.
  • RevenueCat, our subscription provider, receives your random account ID and your purchase and subscription records from the store so it can confirm your access. It does not receive your baby profile or your names.
  • Our servers store your subscription status (whether it is active, which plan and when it ends) and count how often you use each AI feature per day, to apply daily usage limits.

9. Notifications

  • Namiri sends two kinds of notification, a match notification and a daily name, both opt-in: nothing is sent unless you allow notifications when Namiri asks. If you allow them, your phone's push token and its platform (iOS or Android) are stored with your account.
  • When you and your partner both like a name, the partner who liked it first gets a notification with the name. We send it through Expo's push service, which passes it to Apple Push Notification service or Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) for delivery.
  • The daily name notification is scheduled on your phone from names already on it; our servers do not send it. You can turn it off in Settings and keep the match notifications.
  • Signing out or deleting your account removes this phone's push token. You can also turn notifications off in your phone's settings.

10. Data on your phone

Namiri also keeps data on your phone: your sign-in session, your settings, your introduction answers while you give them, cached names, your Ask conversation and the free-mode name counter. Share cards are made on your phone and shared through your phone's share sheet; we do not upload them. Deleting the app removes this data from the phone, but it does not delete your account on our servers.

11. Name data

Name meanings, origins and popularity come from open data: Wiktionary (CC BY-SA 4.0), Wikidata (CC0) and national statistics offices, including TÜİK. This data describes names, not the people who use Namiri. The sources are credited in the app under Settings › Sources & licences and in the Terms of Use. The Türk Dil Kurumu's TDK Kişi Adları Sözlüğü is a reference only: we consult it while writing meanings in our own words, and none of its text is copied into Namiri or published.

12. Who receives data

These providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Like any online service, they also keep technical records such as IP addresses to run and secure their systems. We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising. Namiri does not access your contacts, location, camera or microphone.

13. How long we keep data

  • Your account, likes and passes, your usage counters and your subscription status: until you delete your account. An anonymous account inactive for 180 days is deleted sooner (section 2).
  • AI reasons saved for you: deleted 30 days after they were written.
  • Push tokens: until you sign out or delete your account, or another account registers the same phone.
  • Household data (baby profile, shortlist and notes, matches, chosen name, saved fit results): until the household is deleted, which happens when its last member leaves it or deletes their account.
  • Suggestion log: each entry is deleted 180 days after the suggestion was made. All of it is deleted when you delete your account.
  • Family votes: deleted 30 days after the link closes (a link is open for 30 days), or sooner if the person who created the vote leaves the household or deletes their account, or the household is deleted.
  • Name stories and checks: they contain no personal data and are kept as part of the name catalog.
  • Ask conversation: only on your phone, the last 50 messages.
  • Apple, Google and RevenueCat keep their own purchase records under their own policies.

14. Deleting your account

In Namiri, open Settings, tap Delete account and confirm. This deletes, straight away:

  • your account and any Apple or Google sign-in linked to it;
  • your likes and passes, your suggestion log, the AI reasons saved for you, your usage counters, your subscription status record and your push tokens;
  • the family votes you created, with the votes cast in them;
  • your place in the household. If you were its only member, the household goes too: the baby profile, the shortlist and its notes, the matches, the chosen name and the saved fit results.

If your partner stays, the household's profile, shortlist and notes (including notes you wrote) stay with them, and matches that rested on your likes are removed. We also ask RevenueCat to delete its record for your account, and the app clears its data from your phone.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play first (see the Terms of Use). Apple and Google keep their own purchase records.

If you can no longer open the app, ask us to delete your account with the deletion request form. An anonymous account can only be found by its Support ID; an account linked to Apple or Google can also be found by its email address.

15. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU or the KVKK in Türkiye), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to receive a copy of it, and to object to or restrict its processing. You can edit your profile and delete your account in the app. For anything else, write to [email protected] with your Support ID. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

16. Security

Database rules let only the members of a household read its data. The keys for Anthropic, RevenueCat and our database's administrative access are kept on our servers, never in the app. Data travels between the app and our servers encrypted (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

17. Children

Namiri is made for adults who are expecting or planning a baby. It is not directed at children, and children should not use it. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children using the app; if you believe a child has used it, contact us so we can delete the account. The profile can contain your children's first names and your baby's details: you enter them as a parent, and we use them only as this policy describes.

18. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we change the "Last updated" date above.

19. Contact
