1. Introduction

NERON ("we", "our", or "us") operates the SubTracker mobile application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our application.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Data You Provide

Subscription Data: Subscription names, amounts, billing cycles, renewal dates, and categories you enter into the app.
Account Information: If you sign in with Sign in with Apple or Google, we collect the authentication identifier from that sign-in to associate your data with your account.
Budget Settings: Monthly budget limits and notification preferences.

2.2 Automatically Collected Data

Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for crash reporting.
Usage Analytics: Anonymous usage patterns to improve the app experience. No personal subscription data is included in analytics.

2.3 Analytics and Crash Reporting

We use Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to collect anonymous usage data that helps us understand how our app is used and improve user experience. This includes:

Screen views and feature interactions
App version and device information (device model, operating system version)
General location data (country/region level, derived from IP address)
Session duration and frequency

We use Firebase Crashlytics (provided by Google) to automatically collect crash reports and error data when the app encounters issues. This includes:

Crash stack traces and error messages
Device state at time of crash (memory, storage, battery)
App version and operating system version

This data is processed by Google under their Firebase Privacy Policy. Analytics data is anonymized and does not personally identify you.

2.4 Cloud Data

If you are a Pro subscriber and signed in, your subscriptions and settings are also saved to your account (Google Firebase / Cloud Firestore), encrypted at rest by Google Cloud. There is no separate sync switch. If you are not signed in, none of this is saved to an account.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the app's functionality
To track your subscriptions and send renewal reminders
To calculate spending analytics and budget tracking
To save your subscriptions and settings to your account (if you are a signed-in Pro subscriber)
To improve the app through anonymous analytics
To manage subscriptions via RevenueCat

4. Data Storage

Your subscription data is stored locally on your device using a local database. If you are a Pro subscriber and signed in, your subscriptions and settings are also saved to your account in Google Firebase / Cloud Firestore, encrypted at rest by Google Cloud.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal subscription data with third parties. Your financial information remains private. The app contains no advertising SDKs and does not track you across other companies' apps.

6. Third-Party Services

Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore (Google): Authentication (for signed-in users) and cloud storage of your subscriptions and settings. See Firebase Privacy Policy.
Firebase Analytics (Google): Anonymous usage analytics to understand app usage patterns. See Firebase Privacy Policy.
Firebase Crashlytics (Google): Automatic crash reporting and error tracking to improve app stability. See Firebase Privacy Policy.
RevenueCat: Subscription and purchase management. RevenueCat receives purchase and subscriber data and a pricing-tier attribute.
Sign in with Apple and Google: Sign-in for users who choose to sign in.
Expo Updates: The app asks Expo's update service for over-the-air updates.
Notifications: Renewal reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device; the app does not use a push notification service.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access all your data (stored locally on your device)
Export your data to CSV at any time
Delete the data on your device by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling alone does not delete data saved to your account
Delete your account and cloud data in the app: Settings, account deletion removes your data in Cloud Firestore (your user record and your subscriptions) and your authentication account. See Delete your SubTracker data

8. Children's Privacy

SubTracker is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date.
