Account deletion
Delete your HabitShift account
HabitShift is published by Batuhan Ayhan (App Store) / neron (Google Play). This page explains how to delete your account and the cloud data linked to it. Deleting your account cannot be undone.
Delete your account
In-app account deletion is not available yet. Use the request form on this page.
What is deleted
- Your account and its cloud data: habits, check-ins and daily summaries.
- Buddy connections, nudges and your place in shared journeys.
- Your subscription-customer record in RevenueCat, our purchase-management provider.
- The data stored on your device by the app, when you delete from inside the app.
What is not deleted or cancelled
- Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it yourself in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, otherwise billing continues.
- Apple and Google keep their own purchase and billing records. We cannot delete those.
- Transaction records may be kept where the law requires it (for example for tax purposes).
- Anonymous app analytics and crash reports are not linked to your account, so they are not part of the account deletion.
- If you used the AI coaching feature, the text it sent (habit names, streaks, completions and mood) went to our AI provider. How long the provider and our function logs keep it is described in the HabitShift privacy policy.
Can't open the app? Send a request
Enter the e-mail of the Apple or Google account you linked in HabitShift, or your Buddies invite code. We will delete the account and cloud data we can match to it, using the same steps as above.
Accounts that were never linked to Apple or Google (anonymous accounts) cannot be found by e-mail, because we hold no e-mail address for them. For those, use the in-app option. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete the cloud data.
