Data deletion
Delete your SubTracker data
SubTracker keeps your subscriptions on your device. If you are a Pro subscriber and signed in, your subscriptions and settings are also saved to your account in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore). This page says how to delete that data. See also the privacy policy.
Signed-in Pro users: delete your account in the app
- Open Settings in SubTracker and tap "Delete Account".
- The app asks you to confirm: it says this will permanently delete your account and all synced data and cannot be undone. Tap "Delete Permanently" to go ahead.
- This removes your data in Cloud Firestore (your user record and your subscriptions) and your authentication account.
- It does not cancel a subscription. Manage that in your App Store or Google Play settings.
Data on your device
- Your subscriptions, budget settings and notification preferences are stored in a local database on your device. Deleting the app removes them from the device.
- Deleting the app alone does not delete data saved to your account. Use account deletion in Settings first.
Free or signed-out users
If you have not signed in, we hold no subscriptions or settings for you on a server. The only data held outside your device is anonymous usage and crash data in Google Firebase and purchase data in RevenueCat. Neither includes your subscription list.
Data held by service providers
- Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics hold anonymous usage statistics and crash reports. firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- RevenueCat holds purchase and subscriber data. revenuecat.com/privacy
- Apple App Store and Google Play process payments under their own terms and privacy policies.
Ask us
To ask us about or request deletion of data we can look into, email [email protected] and say which platform (iPhone or Android) it concerns. Where a record cannot be matched to you, we will tell you so.
