Find the name, together

Namiri is coming soon to iPhone and Android. Tell it about your baby and your family, then swipe through names on your own phones; when you and your partner both like a name, it's a match. AI suggests names for your family, says why each one suits you and tells each name's story.

What it does

Made for your family

A short conversation about your baby: the due date, your surname, siblings' names, your family's heritage, your style and the values you want the name to carry.

Swipe apart, match together

You each swipe on your own phone. When you both like a name, it's a match and lands on your shared shortlist, where you can reorder names and add notes.

AI that says why

Claude, Anthropic's AI, picks names for your family and writes a reason for each. Ask the assistant anything about names.

The story of a name

Meaning and origin from open sources, a short story, nicknames and forms in other languages, how it sounds with your surname, and checks for awkward meanings elsewhere.

Let the family vote

Share a link and relatives vote on your shortlist in their browser, with no app or account.

Six languages

Turkish, English, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

Questions people ask

Can I download it now?

Not yet. Namiri is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. Follow it here and we'll write once, the day it's out.

How much does it cost?

Namiri Pro is a weekly or yearly subscription, and the yearly plan starts with a 3-day free trial. One subscription covers you and your partner. Without it you can still swipe 10 catalog names a day, invite your partner and see your matches.

What does the AI see?

With a subscription, our servers send your baby profile and the names you liked and passed to Anthropic, so Claude can pick names and write the reasons. Under Anthropic's commercial terms this data is not used to train its models. The privacy policy has the details.

Do I need an account?

No sign-up. Namiri starts with an anonymous account; sign in with Apple or Google if you want to keep your list on a new phone.

Where do the meanings come from?

From open data: Wiktionary, Wikidata and national statistics offices, including TÜİK for Türkiye. Meanings confirmed by a licensed source are marked as verified; others were drafted by AI.
