1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Food Symptom Detective ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Food Symptom Detective is a health tracking application that helps you log meals, track symptoms, and identify potential food triggers using a correlation engine. All data processing occurs entirely on your device.

3. Medical Disclaimer

Food Symptom Detective is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical advice.

• The App is intended for informational and personal tracking purposes only.
• Correlation results and food trigger suggestions are statistical observations, not medical diagnoses.
• The App does not replace professional medical consultation, diagnosis, or treatment.
• Always consult a qualified healthcare professional (doctor, dietitian, allergist) before making dietary changes based on the App's findings.
• If you experience severe allergic reactions or medical emergencies, seek immediate medical attention.

NERON is not responsible for any health decisions made based on the App's correlation results or reports.

4. Purchases

4.1 Free Tier

The free version includes basic meal and symptom logging with limited analysis features.

4.3 Billing

• Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your device's app store settings.

4.4 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google per their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

5. Data Storage

All data in Food Symptom Detective is stored locally on your device. There is no cloud sync, no server uploads, and no remote storage. You are solely responsible for backing up your device to preserve your data.

Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all your meal logs, symptom records, correlation data, and generated reports.

6. User Responsibilities

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the meal and symptom data you enter.
• You understand that correlation does not imply causation — the App identifies statistical patterns, not definitive causes.
• You are responsible for maintaining device backups to preserve your data.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, correlation algorithms, and content, is owned by NERON. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NERON shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App, including but not limited to health-related decisions made based on the App's analysis results.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Food Symptom Detective processes all data on-device and does not transmit any personal or health data to any server.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. This will permanently delete all local data.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
