1. Introduction

NERON ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Food Symptom Detective mobile application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our application.

Food Symptom Detective is designed with absolute privacy as its foundation. All your health data — meals, symptoms, correlations, and reports — is stored exclusively on your device. Nothing is ever uploaded to any server.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Data Stored On Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to any server:

Meal Data: Food entries, meal times, and ingredients you log in the app.
Symptom Data: Symptom names, severity levels, timing, and notes.
Correlation Data: Analysis results generated by the on-device correlation engine.
Elimination Diet Progress: Your elimination diet phases and food reintroduction records.
Generated Reports: PDF reports are created and stored locally on your device.
App Settings: Your preferences, notification settings, and customizations.

2.2 Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect your meal or symptom data
We do not collect personal health information
We do not collect personal information or email addresses
We do not collect usage analytics or telemetry
We do not collect device identifiers for tracking
We do not use any advertising SDKs
We do not have accounts — there is nothing to sign up for
There is no cloud sync — your data never leaves your device

3. How Data Processing Works

All data processing in Food Symptom Detective happens entirely on your device:

You log meals and symptoms into the app
The correlation engine runs locally on your device to analyze patterns
Results and reports are generated and stored locally
No data is sent to any external server at any point

4. Third-Party Services

RevenueCat: Manages in-app purchase entitlements. Receives anonymous purchase data from Apple/Google. See RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
Apple App Store / Google Play Store: Handles payment processing for purchases.

5. Data Storage and Security

All your data is stored locally on your device using a local database. Data is protected by your device's built-in security (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, biometrics).

Deleting the app will permanently remove all locally stored data including meal logs, symptom records, correlations, and reports.

6. KVKK and GDPR Compliance

Food Symptom Detective is designed to be fully compliant with both the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Since we do not collect, process, or store any personal data on our servers, there is no personal data processing to regulate. Your health data remains entirely under your control on your own device.

7. Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

Access: All your data is on your device — you have full access at all times
Delete: Delete individual entries in the app, or delete all data by uninstalling
Export: Generate PDF reports to share with your healthcare provider
Portability: Your data never leaves your device, so there is nothing to export from our servers

8. Children's Privacy

Food Symptom Detective is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date.
